Well a real man does his own oil changes. Just sayin
Brother trust me I do. Short of involved drivetrain stuff no one works on my stuff. I'm just saying what would you do if your buddy was there and you wrapped up underneath and the next step was filling it up and you went in to get beers and came out to see your friend dumping oil like that?

Shit like that is why I wouldn’t let my knucklehead friends drop in the oil.

A real man knows the time spent changing my oil costs me more in lost time than paying the dealer.

No shit...I haven’t changed mine in years. My last dealer charged me the same as I could have gotten the oil for. Ford gave me 3 free oil changes on my truck and mustang so Im using them. You cant beat free

I do my own maintenance because I don't trust the **** stick at the shop to do it. It's worth my time to make sure it's done right. Just my mindset though. Nothing against anyone that has a dealership do work for them.

this. I was having the dealer by work do it but they could **** up a steel ball with a rubber screw driver. So I bought a fumoto and a couple cases of oil at Costco

I understand that completely. I had my Camaro eat the converter and destroy the entire transmission. The only thing that save me from having to fight for the warranty was the car had impeccable dealership records. They ran the OBD to check for tom foolery and checked my service records and ok’d it immediately.

I did oil changes at a dealership. Minimum wage pay and minimum wage quality. So far Ive been good all this time, but i do check afterwards.
