Maxing out 80lb injectors on e85

What is everyone's experience running 80's on e85. According to my data logs I'm running out of injector at ~5250 rpms and 11psi. Based off some old dyno sheets that would put me at about 550 rwhp. Fuel system is stock 96 cobra with a 465 intank pump and 80 lbinjectors. Waiting on a new fuel pressure sensor to come in so I can log pressure to see what that is doing.

714/680 with 80s. Returnless 04 cobra setup, fore hat, 2 supercar gt pumps, -8 feed, 22psi

Your system will only be as good as its weakest link.....I don't believe that's the 80s at this time

What were your fuel pressures and duty cycles looking like at those levels?

Base pressure set on the regulator was 50 psi. -8 feed and return fyi. Its is a 1:1 regulator (boost reference) I was running 22lbs of boost, my injector duty cycle was 100 percent at that power level. I then upgraded injectors while keeping the same base pressure issue resolved going lean. I would venture to say your issue may be feed line and or pump capacity.

Why are some of you choosing to run such high base fuel pressures?

As pressure increases, fuel pump flow decreases. Why not just run a properly sized fuel injector, pump/s, and lines?

If your pump has enough flow at higher pressures then why not? Increasing base pressure is lot cheaper(free) than buying new injectors and lines.

Sure. It's cheaper initially. I just don't understand pushing injectors near or to their limits and risking an engine.
