I just picked up a gen 5 17 and the trigger is typical Glock staple gun. I cannot recall what I have put in my previous Glocks. I am thinking of either an Apex or Wilson. I like flat face. What do you recommend?

Honestly, some polishing compound and 15 min, and about 1K rounds through the gun is 95% as good (most importantly, reliable) as the best aftermarket triggers out there.

Stock. Why **** with perfection...

Figures a Left leaning sympathizer would try to **** that up.

Apparently you have never shot a glock. Not a surprise given that you run your mouth constantly about shit you have no experience with.

You know not what you speak of, bish...

Would rather be highly proficient with the stock stuff. Learn your take up/wall/break. If you master the stock trigger on a Glock most others will be “cake”.

If You still must change the trigger...

Zev fulcrum ultimate or if you really wanna go custom Johnny Glocks.

Honestly, it’s called practice. I’ve see guys absolutely decimate a 3 gun course with a stock Glock. I’m no slouch with one, been carrying a 19 for 20 years now and it’s never been a problem. Learn through reps the break and reset points until it’s muscle memory is what it takes. If it feels gritty, use a TINY amount of Flitz until it’s polished and then thoroughly clean before reinstalling.

Competition I can make some allowance for a lighter pull, but there is a reason why they install a heavier trigger for billy badass who can’t control his booger hook in a high adrenaline situation.

Thanks. I have a little competition under my belt as well and have experience with most of the platforms on the market. I also have experience across the last three gens of glock both with and without aftermarket trigger. The glock trigger is objectively trash compared to the PPQ, Sig 320, HK VP9 all of which I also have. The gen 5 is supposed to be an improvement over the gen 4 and it is not so I will improve it myself.

I agree, it’s not as nice as the 365 or 320 or really most any of the new striker fired triggers. Factory stock the 365 is fantastic for a striker pistol, my 229 though is my favorite, a close second would be the CGW CZ, I have one in my P07 and damn it’s nice though neither striker fired.

I’d disagree. I prefer the G5 trigger to the 365. The stock p07 trigger is pretty badass if you learn to get past the trigger “pinch”.

Why are you such a bitch? You want to converse on the topic? Fine. Instead you run your mouth before proceeding to confirm everything I just typed. Put me on your ignore list and **** off if you cannot show some respect.

Klown... hhhm hmm.. I mean Klaus, you might be a left leaning POS, but at least you are into cool shit and have good taste. I’ll give you that. ;)

PS: I’m a little jelly of that VP9.

If it's a carry gun, stock. If its a fun range/comp gun, ZEV. With that being said, I actually really like stock Glock triggers. Especially after a few thousand rounds have been put threw them.

I’m running a Overwatch DAT trigger in my 19. It reduce the over travel so it is less mushy.

For its purpose (carry weapon) its great, it goes bang without being so light that I would AD or ND in an adrenaline charge fight. It also reduced my group size, because I have a tendency to not pull up the slack when shooting glocks.

Is it right for OP, he won’t know until in fires one similar to my config.

I don't keep up on handguns really anymore, but I also never enjoyed the stock glock trigger. I prefer a firmer snap, not lighter, but more obvious. Just feels better and more consistent.

I bought the CZ with already being “cajunized” so no idea, and I still don’t have a Gen 5 Glock so there’s that. The factory 365 is better than my G4 19 imho as far as feel but subjective, in terms of operation and trust I still lean Glock.

My Gen 2 17 has the older ~7lb pull and my wife's Gen 5 19 has the newer ~5lb pull, I really prefer her trigger when I'm speed shooting, but, I still prefer the heavier pull on my daily carry.

Edit: prefer the curved trigger on handguns. Flat on my rifles.
