Glad to hear that local pd is working it. But typically, credit card companies have online banking that you should be able to log in and file a claim on your own.

I would still do that if possible. Let us know how things turn out.

You seem to have alot of issues in the raleigh area, am i wrong?
Good luck with the cops doing anything about this. I have had my card info taken a couple of times and got all the info for them and the bank. We got our money back from the bank but wanted them to find these idiots but they were not interested in doing anything.

Yes we do. I have had my card info stolen twice this year. One I believe from the atm at the bank and the other I believe was from the gas station. Each time my wife and I tracked down where they spent the money at and filled reports. The cops just said they gave you your money back so why push. I said you don’t know, maybe if you investigate you could uncover something bigger. The first time it was stolen the dirtbags where using the stolen card at a gas station in SC. I believe they were filling up large tanks and selling the fuel on the black market.

*rolls eyes*

I understand your frustration.

Its the principal of the matter. And besides, it doesnt matter you got your money back. Now the bank is out of the money... so theres still a victim!
