Actually one of the dumber things I’ve watched.....
I have to agree. I'll probably take heat for this, LOL, but I mean, why? I guess some will go to the extreme to soak in the sun of publicity and controversy. At the beginning, didn't he state they were going fishing? That didn't happen. LOL. What he DID do is come close to damaging the bridge supports due to lack of adequate steering/maneuverability. It's a truck, dude, not a boat. Would have been funny if the ocean bed suddenly dipped and he found out quick that his "boat" wouldn't float. Oh, but he had a 4-Caddy motored real boat to try to tow him back to shore. Well, he got the publicity he was looking for. IMO it was one of the most dumb things I've seen. Again, JMO.

“ why “

the answer .. because he can.

because they can.

I'm not picking up what you're putting down. Floating in 3' of water is the same as floating in 30' of water. I know that area well and there were plenty of places he went that would have completely submerged his truck.

That truck has already been upside down in water...just not salt water.(from what I've seen on the YT thumbnail)
He destroys everything he gets, that is the purpose of his channel and obviously it seems to be working for him.
I understand its just a truck or car...but I do find it annoying to watch someone with no talent, destroy so much stuff that took a bunch of talent to build.

Reminds me of when BigFoot raced a paddle boat on the Chattahoochee River in 1985

He isn't driving on the ocean bed. He is literally using the tires to float. That's the reason he has 8 tires instead of 4. 4 alone wouldn't provide enough buoyancy.

I'm just wondering why he wouldn't opt for some paddle tires instead of what he had. That way he could go faster than .5 mph.

i did find the video entertaining but apart of me has a major issue with this.

I like how the cops/authorities just stand around with their hands in their pockets while they watch someone do something clearly illegal. Its not a boat, not maneuverable in water, not safe by any marine standard in existence, has a fake registration and also caused damage to a bridge. But apparently this is all ok for .....reasons?

I bet some of those same cops would go absolutely nuts if they saw a mustang just barely throw a rev at a stoplight on a deserted road at 3am. (^_^)

Spend some time on the water down here, especially on a holiday weekend, and you’ll understand.

I may have missed it, but I didn’t see him hit the bridge. And he was ticketed for the registration.

Ah, that I missed.

If a larger boat is heading right for him, he's pretty much screwed since he can't maneuver it well at all. IMO if you can't maneuver a "water craft", it doesn't belong in the water. It then becomes a potential hazard for those in the craft, and other on the water. Just sayin.

Just because he can, doesn't mean he should.
