Im installing a snow progressive meth kit on 99 built 2v with a single 7875 running pump gas twin 340lph 10an feed split to 8an and 8an return . I have PRP SCT Advantage with calibrator access. What would have to be done in the tune to only add timing according to ACT. Nozzle is located after MAF and before IAT in charge pipe. Gonna start with a 10gph and check iat's make any changes. Was thinking to start it at 2psi and have it totally on by 6psi. Any recommendations or anything wrong with my thoughts please let me know. I included pics of my timing table. What kind of timing should I be running.

This really needs to be dialed in on a dyno so you can see the gains. But I would start with some datalogging and see what your Iat2's & AF look like with meth and without.

You'll actually want to use a ACT Spark adder table if you have one. That way you can keep the the base spark table the same and it will only add spark when the ACT is cool enough (while you are spraying). That way if you run out of meth, clogged nozzle ect, it won't increase timing hurt the motor.

Also af readings will be critical as well. When your spraying you may see your running rich. You'll need to hunt around for a table (you don't want to change the base fuel table or maf xfer function) that will let you adjust fuel at wot while on spray.

Also just to reiterate, it's crucial to datalog first so you can see where your at. Then start making small changes and go from there. For example increase timing like 1-2 degrees at first to make sure the car is responding to the tuning changes you made. Good luck!

If ur gonna use methanol as fuel make sure u buy the AEM failsafe gauge Wideband Failsafe Gauge | AEM
I am not going to change the fuel tables once i am tuned for no meth. Gonna use the meth to add timing Only and will be rich when spraying. I do have the innovate SCG-1 with similar fail safe as the AEM. Cant seem to find ACT Spark adder table in SCT Advantage and i have calibrator status

Thanks I'm not gonna adjust fuel only use the meth for added timing according to ACT. Will be running rich while spraying which is ok with me. Just cant seem to find ACT Spark adder table CVAF1 is my strategy.

Ok, good to hear. Thats what I do I just add some timing but cools intake temps greatly.

Gotcha. So if no spark adder for ACT then you will bump up the timing at WOT. Just make sure you set up your ACT retard table accordingly. You'll want the table to pull timing during normal driving and let you run full timing while spraying. Once you see what your intake temps are on spray you can start dialing in your table. Just don't get too greedy with the timing and you should be ok. If your not sure how to proceed, do some wot logs with and without spray using your normal timing and we can take a look at them and advise from there.

if you dont know how to adjust spark for act temps its probably best it you leave it to a pro

the full details are in my write up
