Help me out here. I'm confused why you're trying to contact Apple over a restaurant employee taking a photo of your credit card. Shouldn't you be filing a fraud report with your credit card company to flag the fraudulent charges? Or are you trying to nab the restaurant employee to have him charged criminally?

The report has already been filed with the bank. The bank isn't doing a case, after my own research i tracked it down to this guy. Apple confirmed his name, which is the guy at the restaurant. However, they won't email me his purchase receipts even though my card was used to make the purchases.

Twilight zone, right?

Very odd... why isn't your credit card company opening up a fraud case?

But if they prosecute it'll cost them money. Until you steal enough for felony theft, or do something violent while committing the act, it will usually slide.

I can remember my cousin had his car stereo stolen for the 3rd time in a year, and he hid razor blades behind the HU. Plenty of bloody fingerprints but everytime it wasn't worth it to the department to use resources for finding a guy missing fingertips and a bloody stereo.

If you have that much info you should be able to file in small claims. How much did he spend anyhow? I would let the local PD run with it since you already have so much info.

Good luck with the cops doing anything about this. I have had my card info taken a couple of times and got all the info for them and the bank. We got our money back from the bank but wanted them to find these idiots but they were not interested in doing anything.
