Congrats, she's pretty! It's kind of nostalgic though. Looking back on where most of us started with the Terminator that was a monster stock and a vette eater modded. That car was a paradigm shift in the muscle car era. Then we all moved on to GT500's and now the new monster is out. I'm not knocking this car at all but look how much has changed since then. In a relative short amount of time. Terminator stock 390 hp, GT 500 had 500, then 540, then aluminum block, to the new monster with 220 more hp with a warranty. Crazy times we live through. Amazing. Enjoy!

Thanks! Performance cars have come a long way for sure. Hell a regular GT is 460hp now, and the overall capability of the Coyote engines are fantastic. You said the perfect word though, nostalgic. Even though it's only 12 years old the 07-09's to me threw it back to the original Shelby's and is probably why I like them so much.

Congratulations, she's a beautiful car. In a coincidence of timing, I saw a blue Shelby GT500 in person last weekend here in Monterey, and was reminded just how well the whole package works.

Enjoy!

Very clean looking! They were fun cars to drive too, spent much time behind the wheel of a family friends GT500 and GT500KR in that body style

It really does, and thanks!

Sharp car, congrats.

Thanks!

I had a Bassani cat-back on mine and it sounded awesome.

I have a Bassani catted X and Borla Stingers on the Mach. It sounds good but it drones too much over 65 on the highway. I definitely want it to be loud at WOT but not drone. Not easy to accomplish I know.

Very nice. Looks great but I might be biased, when it comes to that color combo.
A bit of info on the rear Shelby letters. That’s the way the S197 I Shelby’s from Shelby had their lettering format.

Pick your poison.

And you drove it home, awesome! It’s a beautiful color and a great score. Now you will have to do your garage floor to make it pop when it sits.

Yessir that's how the Super Snakes came I believe.

Congrats. Nice car and well bought.

Thanks!

Thanks! Hell yeah I put 6% of it's mileage on it in one day lol. I've been wanting to do the garage floor I need to get on that.

Very nice. I had an '07 with the same paint scheme. Never once did anything to the paint except wash it and it always glistened like it was just polished. I swapped out the exhaust as well and bolted these on: Ford Racing Shelby GT500KR Special Edition Mufflers -- M-5230-S

Thanks! I've always loved Vista Blue such a great color. I'll have to check those out.

Good looking car scott. Is it going to just be a cruiser?

Thanks! For the most part yeah cruise and bomb the highways and back roads. I'm sure it'll see the track occasionally. I'll put more power in it but I don't want to have to build the engine.

Look at Corsa. I can say on 13-14 there is no drone on the sports. Can’t speak to the extreme. They are much louder though.

Congratulations on the new ride! Vista blue is a real good color on that body style IMO. How does it compare to a terminator?

I use to drool about these cars even more than the 13/14 gt500, when that first came out.
Nice GT500! Love blue and white combo.

Me too, thanks!

Thanks! I've never owned a Terminator but I've driven and ridden in some. Different car going from the SN95 to S197.
