I purchased a VMP SC GEN2R Budget Kit (Gen2R 2.3L SC, 2.5 pulley, CAI, VMP 67mm TB, IR plugs, DeatschWerks 95 lb injectors, 90mm idler) along with a VMP fuel pump booster. I ordered the tune (free with kit) for 93 octane with all of the above options. I have a tuner that will dyno it once I get it to him.
Here's my issue....I realized that VMP never sent me the BAP yet and I requested that option in the tune for my car. I was going to start the install since I an running out of time (dyno date approaching) but I don't know if I can drive it without the BAP installed if the tune included that option. I don't want a brick in my driveway/garage that won't run for a week.
Anyone know if I can the car without a BAP even if it was tuned for it??
Other option would be to order quickly from someone other than VMP maybe and see if they can cancel and refund my money.
