Loose clutch fork

All,

My clutch pedal bounces and something in the clutch/trans chirps from time to time, both stop when I push down lightly on the pedal.

Attached is a video of the clutch fork with inspection cover pulled and cable disconnected. Thoughts? The chirping and vibrating is the fork moving side to side. Does the loose/wobbling fork look like an issue with the throwout bearing, pivot/fork, or a little of both? Can't see the pivot, of course, but I think it's attached at that end.

Thanks!

When my clutch pedal started bouncing/feeling loose, I changed to a new FR fork, FR tob and oem pivot ball stud. Clutch pedal is solid as can be now. Absolutely no slop. The old pivot ball stud was quite worn, especially on one side.

I quite literally had this exact problem 3 days ago. The factory aluminum retainer sleeve was shot. Upgraded to a steel one.

Hope my experience with that helps narrow it down!

Thanks much!

A little more work than I'm capable of on my back in the garage, but if I finally make the investment in a lift this winter, I may give it a shot.
