On Saturday, I traded in my 2014 Shelby for a 2020 Shelby after months of debate.

I got a decent offer on the car and had the pull the trigger. I'm sure one day I'll wake up and miss it, but I'm loving the new technology and honestly loving the auto (wife too cause now she can drive it haha).

Anywho, thought I'd post some pics. Has all options except CFTP obvi. The cars are completely different animals. Of course I would have loved to have both, but the new wife was not on board with that one haha.

Here they are next to each other. Salesman suggested it and I'm glad he did, cool to have a picture of them side by side.

Very nice NoSlow, congrats.
I've been bitten by the 2020 bug as well and placed an order a month ago. Have a build week of 12-7. Black base loaded.
I'm undecided what to do with my `13 GB 500. I guess for now she'll have to slide over.
Really looking forward to the new technology and the DCT

Nice! I've only driven it a handful of times so I'm slowly learning how the dct truly works. Each time I drive it I learn something new. I'm at a point in my life (32yo) where I cant really afford to have both, but maybe one day I can grab another 13/14 to bring back. Make sure to post yours when you get it!

Congrats. Beautiful car.
That Rapid Red is a great color, especially out in the sun.

Congrats on the 2020. Curious on your driving impressions from the 14 to the 20. I have a 13 and love the car, 2021 gt500 will be ordered and not Sure whether I will keep the 13 as well.

Let's just say I was very surprised given what dealers normally insult you with...
I'm going to guess a $5K ADM. Just a guess.

Congratulations. I like the '13/'14 body design better, but OMO the engineering improvements overall are massive. I think although you'll miss the 6-speed a bit, you're going to love the DCT. It's an awesome transmission. And....your wife's happy. Happy wife, happy life. LOL. Have fun with it.

Congrats !! Both are nice but being a 13 GT500 owner myself I would have a hard time giving mine up. Let us know your goods and bads about both after driving it for a while.

Sold my 14 as well for the 2020. I've always enjoyed the S197 platform, still daily my Boss. I'll never forget my 14 (it was my first Shelby) but I didn't like the gearing nor the struggle for traction anywhere outside of the road course on warm days. I've put 900 miles on the 20 so far, and I'll wait for the honeymoon phase to be over for my final opinion, but this car is leaps and bounds over my 14. Traction, handling, power delivery, even in cooler weather. The DCT is bananas. This is my first car with the dial and I like it so far. Very intuitive and it frees up space. I guess that means I'm not a cool car guy. I won't miss my 14 but I'm thankful I got to enjoy it for 6 years.

The 20 is definitely an upgrade. I went from a 14 gt500 to an 18R and the R was leaps and bounds better all around than the 14. I sold my R over the summer and just took delivery of my 20, in the short time I've owned the 20 it seems like as good as the R was Ford was able to improve upon that.

Wow, when u put them side by side u can cleary see how the 2014 is a better looking car 100%. Has style, character and class. The 2020 is kool but doesn't hold a candle to the 2014 as far as looks go.

The Auto is the clear winner tho as far as drivability goes tho.

I was thinking the same thing last night reading this. I will still buy a 20/21 but keeping my 13. Yesterday I made an offer on one but didn’t work out with a 9k ADM Base car.
