Look up full tilt boogie racing. I’m surprised your cobra only goes 70mph. I sent you a PM

You're running out of time! I know I'll be golfing on my two days off, so won't have a lot of time. This time I didn't get to wash the cobra down with soap and water. Basically went over it really good with wolfgang detail spray.

Brady, when do you usually wake her up from the winter hibernation? Do you trickle charge the battery or start it periodically? I'm curious because last year my routine was to start my car every 3-4 weeks, running the motor for 30 minutes with varying RPMs.

Did my last drive for the season, dumped a can of seafoam and topped her off with 93. Tomorrow im gonna wash her while watching it snow outside and then cover her up till next next April or so. Not sure what my winter projects are gonna be just yet.

It rained most of this week and I’m on quarantine unfortunately for testing positive. Hoping to get some seat time this week and get the 5.0 put up. Then the Cobra no later than a week after. Enjoy the golfing. I try and wash mine before storage but have wiped them real good with detailer in the past before. I normally keep a cover on mine due to kids. When they get older I’d love to leave the cover off in the summer just so I can look at it more too.

My teacher in automotive in high school always said it was better to do a full tank of gas and stabil so no moisture. Trickle charger or being the battery inside in a basement. Don’t start till spring. If you do obviously let it get to operating temp as to get moisture out. But I keep mine on a charger and don’t start till they come out in spring.

I do the same, leave my battery tender hooked up till its time for the cover to come off.

Bob,

The 90 coupe is stored at a storage unit, so I pull the battery and put it down in the basement. I check it periodically to see if it needs a charge. The cobra I have on a trickle charger the whole year.

I don't start my cars until it's spring time and ready to be driven. Also full tank of gas with a can of seafoam.

I've done it this way for many years, less chance of condensation and critters looking for a warm place to stay. I do check the cars over quite a bit throughout the winter.

Damn, hope you get feeling better soon! I can't imagine people with many cars. I've found it hard to give attention to just two cars. And I don't have any kids.

Thanks bud I’m feeling better everyday. I agree two already seems like a lot of work plus a daily. I could see it being a little easier if it was a warm climate and they didn’t have to be stored but yeah I couldn’t imagine a whole fleet and having to store for winter.

Yes. But eventually when I have a shop I might not. A non finished garage creates a lot of dust. Then again it's in the same garage throughout the whole year.

Next year I plan on doing a paint correction on it.

Thanks bud, I’ve been doing all of the above except fever reducer. Luckily I never had the fever, only loss of taste, smell, and the chills.

I told my buddy to reach out to BMR tomorrow just so they know he's having the same issue. We'll see what happens. I figure at best they send him an updated K member and he sends the old one back. And at worst his current K member comes out as well as the grinder and welder.

Edit: I seriously don't know how this ended up in this thread. I was reading through the BMR thread when I hit post.

Getting up to 75 today and all sun so took off work and, after taking care of a few honey-dos, gonna open up the shop and take care of a few things:

- put in MM rear iso's to help the 28s not rub
- pull HOB tensioner and find replacement
- throw on smaller pulley and measure for belt length
- level BBRC fuel tank

I figured you covered it. I should get less dust now that I covered the garage floor with poly-aspartic coating. It's amazing how just a bare concrete floor can produce a lot of dust.
