When your new Streamlight doesn't match the weapon your building but does another....you order a black one! HAHAHA Guns are like cars...horrible investments but alot of fun! The M&P has a very old light on it, going to the wife's gun..lol.

Guns hold their value much better than cars do. And they increase in value depending on the political climate.

Yeah but I'm not buying them to sell them and I'll probably have every one I have now and 20 more when I die. So maybe an investment for my wife unless she sells them for what I told her I bought them for. ;)

Kind of disappointed in the quality of the Smith & Wesson 1911 SC that I just picked up. I took the gun apart prior to shooting it because it just didn’t feel as smooth as it should when working the slide. I found the bottom side of the chamber on the barrel where the chamber is shaped to assist with feeding had not been deburred and it was chewing into the frame of the gun. I cleaned up the barrel with an India stone.

Finally bringing the pea shooter (Remington 12-C 22 Long) out of storage. My best guess is that it has not been fired in probably 40+ years. My goals is to get it cleaned up and take my dad to the range with it.

My grandfather bought it when he was a teenager and it's been in the family since. Manufacture date appears to be 1919.

Thanks Bob, I ordered the black in color light this morning for it and the suppressor sights for it. Have some more work to do to it as well, custom grip which I have to send it off for sooner than later.

Looks just like mine. I'll have to pull it out and check it over. I quit using it about 20 years ago when it started misfiring a lot.

Signatures are for pus... oh, wait...

Any of you guys changing out your own sights on your handguns? This looks to be one of the better jigs but also $300. If I can get quality for half the price I’d rather. Isn’t something I’ll need to be doing day in and day out.

Nice! Post a photo of your HK after you get custom grips. My HK is untouched. For now.

I’ve heard good things about them. I have a sight pro for Glock sights.

Hell, why pay someone $50-$100 bucks to change out my sights when I can do it. I ordered this jig after some research, 1/3 the price of the one I posted above. Ordered it last night and it came in today around 1pm, love me some Amazon. Build is amazing with good reviews. Sights come in Tuesday so we shall see. :)

I gave into temptation yesrerday lol
My local shop has had a Rem 700 classic BNIB he got in a set from a guys son how passed away ( the lot had 8 classics bnib)...never even had glass mounted on them

Anyway after seeing these i have lusted over one for 6 months...the 300 winmag

For those that dont know Remington made a 700 classic in one specific caliber for each year from 1981-2005. For example in 1995 they made 4200 in 300 winmag

Cant wait to get it home friday...ill take pics of the nice american walnut and blued steel goodness and its new leupold vx3...i plan to shoot that bitch!

Pretty neat little video on accenting your handguns. Appears when I had my M&P cerakoted they did everything in black except the S&W stamp. May give this a go..pretty damn sure my wife does not have black fingernail polish....good thing I guess.

Added this to the collection last week. Feels like it was made for my hand. Can’t wait to shoot it in a couple weeks when I get back to the casa.

I know the feeling. When you find the handgun that really, really feels like an extension of your hand, you KNOW it. That's how I felt with my HK VP9-SK. Congratulations on buying that Sig.

New True Glow Tritium/Fiber-Optic sights installed on my M&P. Old ones lost their glow a loooong time ago. Hasn't been my "go to gun" in a while anyhow. The sight tool works great! I ensured to use some painters tape everywhere the sight tool touched just to be safe.
