Car is aligned and it drives great. Only thing I have left to do is re verify pinion angle and she will be ready for the track. Plan is to take it sometime in February. Here are a couple of pics, car sits a tad lower but I love it. These springs have a softer spring rate than the Steedas which makes for an even smoother ride.

As noted before at idle you can feel the engine through the poly mounts but once you are moving it feels fine.

these cars don't require alot of suspension work to '60 in the 1.3-1.4 range. My car did it consistently on stock shocks with BMR rear springs, panhard and poly UCA... pinion angle set to -2, ET Street R's.

I'm running a centri with a 3600 stall but she only makes a touch over 500wtq. If your struggling to hook I would look at your wheel/tire, staging procedure or track prep as the culprit.

After debating back and forth I caved and bought a rear seat delete kit. Between work and family the car barely gets driven as it only has 11k miles on it and when I do drive it the kids are not with me. At least thats the logic I sold myself on :).

I picked up a Shrader rear seat delete kit from LMR and am impressed with the fitment. Its a pretty simple kit, ABS plastic wrapped in carpet with some mounting brackets and hardware. Should of dropped roughly 30 more pounds off the car.

I have been eagerly waiting for our local track to reopen and they announced they are closed back down. The closest track is 1.5hrs away and does not open unti; March 6th. I'm going to try and make it as I need to get some runs in before the heat wave kicks off.

It was hard to get a good pic of it due to lighting, here are a couple of shots.

The time has come to upgrade the fuel system on my car. I decided to go with a Fore L2 system and use my existing VMP fuel rails. I purchased a dual pump hat with 465s, the secondary pump will be activated off a Hobbs. Other upgrades include the FC3 controller, fuel pressure gauge, and upgraded SS filter element.

I have used Fore products on previous cars but there quality is even better than before. The kit is completely plug and play, looks like I will have to get hardware to mount the regulator, controller, and filter bracket but that should be easy. They also included detailed information that describes the kit which go above and beyond.

I am not sure when I will start the install, probably sometime over the next month. At this point I am not sure when the track is going to be open so I am not in any rush.

As always big shout out to my boy Jason over at Comp Speed and Sound @TRBO VNM on the hook up. Anyone looking for any parts hit him up for sure, best prices and customer support out there.

Here are a few pics.

Thanks Leonard. Appreciate the support as always and especially in times like now. You should have received 2 stainless steel screws for mounting the filter bracket. Please check again and let me know. If not I’ll get some sent to you.

Installed the fuel system last week. All in all not a bad install, I worked on it for a couple hours every night with the help of a friend. In total id say we spent 8 hours on it. Highly recommend Fore, components are top knotch and everything went together very smooth. I have a few pics below that I took during the install. I have to take the hat out again, I think my fuel level sender is hanging up on the crossover tube. The gas gauge is stuck at 3/8 of a tank and wont go lower even when the tank is drained. If you fill up over halfway the other sender works fine. Onto the pics:

Thanks to @11Sec_Lx for helping me pic the regulator location. My buddy had a nutsert tool which worked out perfectly.

Mounted hobbs on firewall and ended up running power and hobbs wire down passenger side. Boost reference comes off lower manifold straight into tee. From the tee one line goes to hobbs and they other goes to a check valve just before regulator. Tuner does not want the regulator to see vacum, thats why we have a check valve installed.

I wanted easy access to the fc3 controller. We mounted it near the back seats in a readily accessible area. With my rear seat delete I can access the wires very easily. I cut the trunk carpet around the controller so its exposed (forgot to get pic of that). We tapped into the FPDM harness close to the hat area, if you look at the below pics you can see where we tapped into it.

Decided to place filter on frame rail, rather tight fit but its in there. The factory cover fits over this with no trimming necessary. We ended up removing the factory feed line as its not needed.

Fore sent small clamps to mount the fuel lines but we ended up cutting part of the plastic mounts for the fuel/evap lines and made some custom brackets to keep them together. Came out pretty good.

Unfortunately, I will not be going to the track anytime soon. They are still closed in Louisiana and my wife is getting deployed for a few months in the upcoming weeks. Unless I can custom mount some car seats in the stang I will have to wait until the fall.

On a positive not I did order some L&M intake cams, they are on backorder but im in no rush. Currently saving for a short block and then its time to turn this little 2.3 up :). Thanks guys.

Looks good Riddick. A nice clean install. Two things:

1. I thought you were already on E85?
2. Which Fore kit is this?

Thanks!

1. Car has been on E-85 since last summer. I was on stock pump with JMS booster. Fuel system was almost maxed, I plan to upgrade bottom end and pulley down so I stepped up to bigger fuel system.

2. Fore Level 2 with twin 465s.

@Riddick what did you set the base fuel pressure to with the fore system? Also does this route to the FPR first, then one side to the rail, bottom is return or is there a T in the rail that splits over to the FPR and bottom is return?

Check with your tuner on base pressure as it will vary, mine is set at 58.

My feed line goes to the passenger rail first, through a crossover tube to the drivers side rail, and then goes to regulator. I do not have any tees, as stated above a cross over tube connects drivers side and passenger side rail. You can run to the regulator first and then rails, its all preference.

If you need more clarification or pics shoot me a PM and ill give you my number.

Finally had a chance to run the car and we finally got it to 60 ft. Only had one clean run, it started to drizzle and they shut the track down. My goal has been to run a 9 on stock motor with a 82mm pulley, BOX CHECKED .

For a 2.3 blower and a 82mm pulley this thing is doing great. I might run it one more as it sits but we'll see. The last thing I want to do is chuck a rod.
