The truck has gone 11.40 @ 119.6 on the old combo. To make this comparison fair on that pass it went 7.26 @ 94.49

Yesterday with some good da (-500) it went 6.85 @ 104. Sadly we were only running 1/8th mile. So I can't officially say it has been tens. But I know it will. It should run 10.60s @ 128-129 based on this slip.

She's a heavy turd. 4750 race weight with driver.
She might be heavy, but she's stunning and knows how to put that big power to the track. Congrats on the new time slip. Gotta love those last gen Lightnings!

It picks up about 25mph on the back half and should trap 130ish.

2.9 whipple
E85
Custom cams
Arh exhaust and long tubes
Lowered it more(not helpful, looks good)
Very nice. Always love/d these trucks. Used to see them at the track all of the time back when they first came out. Friends brother had one and we got to see it out weekly. Fun times for sure.

Things are ok. School and the kids keep me busy.

I too am very happy with the stance. I wouldn't mind the rear end coming down a shade, but it would need a c-notch and I am not ready for that. The next upgrade is a 15" front rotor and some 6 pot calipers

I remember my truck trapping 104...but that was in the 1/4 lol

Damn I'd love to have another gen2 but the only record I'm interested in is blower whine DBs

My first lightning went 13.3 @ 104 in the quarter.
This truck has gone 12.89, 12.40, 11.40 and now 6.85(about a 10.60)
Sadly with the ARH headers and the whipple i hear no blower whine. you can hear a little from the outside

That Lightning is bad as hell, reminds me of my old 2000 black Lightning but was nowhere near that fast, best I got out of it was low 13s, sold but never forgotten!!!
