Earlier this year, I ordered (4) quarts of Brad Penn racing oil off Amazon. They delivered (4) 12-quart cases. The order was processed and shipped through a small speed shop in the midwest (KMJPerformance). This isn't cheap oil so I felt bad about keeping it, so I called the shop and told them about the screw up. They were graciously thankful for bringing it to their attention. I kept the 4 quarts I ordered, and shipped them back the rest with the shipping label they provided.

Has to be 5 years ago, we ordered a 36inch commercial exhaust fan for a job. It was half the cost we could by local. Free shipping, it was to arrive in less then a week. Well........3 months later I tried to cancel order. The representative assured next two days and gave us Prime membership that just ran out. I never found any of that funny and won't ever rely on them for materials procurement.

so hold on, it sounds as if they agreed it was their fault due to bad wording, but they still want you to eat the shipping????
Yeah it's been a royal pain in the ass.

We have had these listed on craigslist for a while and only a couple bites but nothing serious. My wife reactivated her FB and listed them there and put it on offer up or let go or something to see if we could get some more traction last night.

If we can get asking price for these I will only be out $70, so it's not the end of the world but it's a pain either way.

I ordered 56 spark plus from Amazon for my 555 bbc Camaro about 5 years ago when they dropped to $1 a plug randomly ($5 originally).

My order details showed Spark plugs x2, 28 times. I came home to, well... 28 boxes lol. They lost money on this one.

I ordered a Playstation VR for my son for Christmas a few years ago from Amazon. It worked for like 15 minutes then went out. I called to try to get a replacement and was told that they were out of stock at the price I got and now only available from 3rd party sellers at a higher price. I read online that Bezo's accepts and reads customer emails ([email protected]), so I sent him my first world complaint. The next day I was contacted via email by a regional manager or VP. They sent me a new VR within a few days and refunded me my entire purchase price for our inconvenience, so we got a free VR that year.
