Got to see one of my bucket list planes fly today. I present to you.....the NASA Super Guppy.

I saw one here in Wichita when they finished restoration of the Apollo era command consoles from Houston at the Cosmosphere, and were taking them back down to Texas for display.
It's worth the 45min hop to Hutchinson if you are ever in Wichita, and want to see spacecraft ontop of aircraft. The Apollo 13 command module oddesy, liberty bell 7, an SR-71, X-15 and a shuttle mockup, along with dozens of rockets from V1 and V2 onward, as well as quite a bit of Russian equipment.

Lmao, that dude with the cigar and how obviously proud of that shit he was is great.

When you look at some of the crazy WWII tech the Germans had really puts into perspective how incredible a victory it was. If the allies weren't able to control the supply lines and resources, might be a very different world.

That's badass, however my search leads me to believe that it's not a panzer (Maybach) engine. I'd really like to know what that is.
Anyone?
