It's state inspection time for my coupe. So, I took it out, washed it and grabbed a couple quick pic's of it.

Now that's very different. I don't think I've ever seen a photo of your coupe. When did you have it painted?

Thank you Bob! I had it done years ago. I think it was 2009 or 2010. I posted it here back then and VERY few SVTP members liked it LOL. A lot of guys said they could appreciate the work and the paint, but it wasn't their cup of Tea LOL.

I respect all SVTP members opinions, but always crack up because most SVTP members think it's okay to take off the factory Eaton and change EVERYTHING on the performance side, but God forbid you change the aesthetics of the Cobra. The only outward change that is acceptable is changing the wheels.

Again, I get it and understand it, but I have always said "When it comes to my Mustangs I want it to be so unique that if I commit a crime everyone will know who did it just by looking at my get away vehicle" LMAO!!!!!

I always say, "buy what you like, and like what you buy". Meaning, everyone has different tastes and preferences. If YOU'RE happy with the paint scheme (or ANY mod), nothing else matters. Just don't rob a bank. They WILL find you. LOL.

Ordered some HR race springs
Race springs are always nice! Is this your first time lowering your Cobra? If so, you'll love the lowered stance. It makes such a huge difference, appearance wise. And tighter handling.

Thanks. I've had it for a month now and I love it. I've always driven cars so this is my first truck/SUV/etc. and I'm hooked. I haven't driven the Shelby since I got the Raptor and I'm just looking for reasons to just drive it.

I actually have the same issue with my Cobra now that I have a Gen2, this is the first truck Ive owned as well. Driven plenty just never owned. Dont get me wrong I love driving my Cobra but I love driving my Raptor just as much, makes jockeying the cars around to get the Cobra out of the garage more of a hassle then it ever was before. Have taken the Cobra out every day this week so far, first time thats happened in a few years.

Same here. I never thought I'd have so much fun in this truck. I guess it's good for the Shelby and Mystichrome since I won't be putting miles on them while I enjoy the Raptor.

Well it was sorta today... I left MA yesterday morning and drove 1,106 miles straight down to my other home in GA! I had originally planned to trailer down, but a bunch of things happened and it didn’t work out, so I decided to just drive it! Hit 18,000 on this trip, and did pretty much the entire thing with the top down because it was such a nice fall day. I only had the top up for the last couple of hours early this morning. I was awake for 24 hours and spent a good deal of that driving. It sucked doing the trip alone, but I couldn’t think of a more fun vehicle to do the trip with than a Whippled convertible Terminator! I was super nervous because I generally only put a few hundred miles a year on it (if that), so I had concerns about the reliability being that it’s modded. I had my whole airplane cockpit of gauges set up to monitor all the important stuff though, and it didn’t miss a beat. IATs climbed a bit during a couple of traffic jams on the highway, but the coolant temp stayed awesome. The highest it got was 206, the rest of the time on the highway it stayed right at 200. I was concerned about putting that much mileage on it, but my wife said “who are you saving it for?” She said “do you really think 1,100 extra miles is going to diminish its value?” Then the final straw was when she told “if you die, I’m just going to sell it anyway!”. At that moment I realized she was right, because someone else would just enjoy the car that I put so much time, money, and effort into, while I just preserved it for them! I did put the full bra on the front to at least protect it from sand/rock chips anyway.

Very nice audio setup. Always good to have more weight on the rear tires. Especially during the snow season. LOL. So you did the install yourself? If so, well done sir! Well done!
