Whats everyone running on your cars and is there a benefit to one over the other? I am currently using a Bobs oil separator and it works great and I have been very happy with it. I am about to switch to a lightweight battery and the mount im purchasing has the option to include a catch can. Basically, each valve cover will have a line ran to the catch can with breathers on top. With my current set up I have the separator placed on the passenger side only.

The separator works off vacum and will actually pull crankcase gases out when idling and under part throttle conditions. With the catch can there will be no vacum all gases and blow by will accumulate in the catch can. Again, is one way better than the other? My car is hardly driven as I only put about 1500 miles on it per year.

Post on your set ups and the pros and cons of each.

Ran stock, breathers, and catch can (not seperator, vented). Catch cans and breathers smell too much IMHO. I'm looking at a Mighty Mouse setup shortly but they're expensive. They have all 3 options though and I like the 1 way breather.

The Mighty Mouse set ups are extremely nice. I decided to go with the Fat Fab battery mount with integrated catch can. Very expensive option but will do what I want while shaving almost 30 pounds off the car.

Still need to order the battery and lines but im waiting for my stock battery to officially kick the bed. Surprised its still holding a charge considering the car was built in Oct of 2012.

Here is a link to the set up I will be running if anyone is interested.

That is a really nice setup! My car already has the battery in the trunk and I currently have breathers only on it. I'm also going to buy the Mighty Mouse setup because they have a high horsepower option that will hopefully be a good fit for my car. I'm also considering the Watson Racing unit, but think I've settled on the Mighty Mouse. The Fathouse Fabrications setup you bought is very nice... It just seemed very large from a capacity standpoint IMO.

I've been running breathers on my car. originally did it to cut down the costs when going fi. My car has been like that for about 2500 miles and they seem to do the trick. Yeah you might smell it just a little but it isnt like the unbearable smell of burnt oil and i can tell you i definitely smell the exhaust way more so if your catless you won't even smell it. I thought maybe in the future ill switch to a catch can setup but I don't think I'll be doing that anytime in the near future

I have the Fatfab setup. Works perfect. Don't let the little Antigravity battery die or u will not be able to bring it back to life. It needs a tender.

I could stare at that engine bay for days, awesome set up!

Anti-gravity now has the ATX 20HD which offers a little more power over the one you run. Also, has same dimensions as yours just a tad wider, so it will drop right into the fat fab mount.

Am I the only one that thinks that is expensive for what it is?

Noone will argue its expensive, I even pointed that out above. Only a very small percentage of Mustang owners will be interested in this. Couple that with the fact this is a custom piece that directly bolts in drives the price up more.

Both coil covers to a vented tank, here. It keeps oil mist out of the intake. The oil mist heats the incoming air, coats the throttle body, blower, intercooler, ect. Some say it degrades the octane of the fuel over time. I'm unsure on that one.

We installed it in early 2013 when I added the blower.

Sounds like you got a great game plan. I just got a simple passenger side UPR catch can, it’s treated me well.
