Watch or don’t watch the video... it’s all good. Question though, for those with an aversion to videos, why would you click a thread in the video section with a title that clearly states “video?”

Why waste time busting the guys balls when you could just go to another thread?

Because this is SVTP. The only place where people actually get chastised for this drawn out wannabe influencer nonsense.

I am. Sorry Goose, I don't have time this morning for a long video explanation of a rather simple event.

OP deserves some credit. I mean he didn't even milk it to 10 minutes for extra ad revenue, or title it really clickbait-y like "OMG MY ULTRA RARE 2000 COBRA R DIDN'T PASS INSPECTION BECAUSE OF THIS???" with a thumbnail of him making a shocked face. And don't forget to like and subscribe, you can use his vendor code for Rock Auto, they have all the parts you ever need.

...yet.

It is pretty clickbait-y though. Drawing people in to find out why you didn't pass inspection on a stock car, and turning "changed batteries" into a 6 minute video.

"Hey guys, I pulled the battery on my R to start another car and then went to smog it. I forgot that I need to drive it around a little first so it ended up failing inspection, boy I feel dumb lol."

See how easy that was? It takes anyone with more than a third grade education about 10 seconds to read and comprehend those sentences.

I took my low-mile, completely stock 2000 Cobra R in for its annual Texas inspection and much to my surprise, IT FAILED! As it turned out, this was completely my fault and preventable... lesson learned!

Goose17 , very nice video, Im sorry you have some complete a**holes making negative comments about it.Extremely imformative video on the drive cycle stuff, i didnt know that could happen. Also HUGE props on your awesome car collection.I look foward to any other videos you do.

This is the perfect example of the youtube car community. Its also why I stopped following so many YouTubers. I don’t have time to watch a 10 min video with 8 mins filled with bullshit no one cares about.

Side note: I didn’t watch gooses video but i do sometimes if it’s something interesting.

Imagine if the video started automatically playing when you opened the thread like a yahoo page.

That would be awesome!

It's not an aversion to videos. It's a 6 minute for something that doesn't need to be 6 minutes. That's a common reason for failure. I was hoping for something good.
