Interested in the results. Considering swapping mine out over winter. Looking at tightening up the front end a bit. Nowadays with so much having gone to electric steering, makes the Cobra feel loosey goosey.

Definitely tightened up the steering feel and a very noticeable difference, my Cobra has always had a similar "loose" steering feel.

You still got that 2.6” upper? I decided to stop the mods once I got mine working perfectly w the 2.8”. Wish I could max out the car a little more but I’m good w it for sure. I see 19lbs on it. Stock tensioner. It’s just past the max mark. Seems to work well

Yes. I was fighting belt slip yesterday. I put a new hd belt on and don't think I had it tight enough.

But I'm not giving up on a 4 lb lower. Will be ordering one from Rick at Metco.

Nope. Car makes plenty of power for what I use it for. Seems everyone is always after the newest blower....

Washed mine last night. She had spider webs on the mirrors. Been weeks since I had driven it and can't even remember the last time I washed it. Looks like I'm on pace to have put maybe 6-700 miles on it this year. Supposed to be 78 and sunny on Friday so maybe I'll take her to work for one last hurrah. If so, I'll snap a shot or two.

Sounds about the same miles I'll be getting on mine this year. I take it out a lot, just don't log a lot of miles when I do. Unfortunately, I probably only have a few weeks until it's time for winter storage. :(

I hear ya. She made it out on one car cruise early in the season and then the virus crap took over. All the fun stuff got canceled so she sat. Makes the occasional 5-mile round trip to the gym, but that's about it. Any winter plans for yours? Been thinking about some steering/suspension work on mine.

I just bought a Wilwood brake kit. But currently don't have a heated garage. So probably wait.

Suspension upgrades are always good!
