Prices have went through the roof. Now, given this thing has been repainted will effect the overall price. I’m going off on a guess and with the low miles, it could be somewhere in the $20-$23k Range.

You really need to double check on the miles cause they came with 5 digit odometer and only go up to a 100 then start over. I was recently going to buy one here locally with 58xxx. I looked up the carfax and in 2007 the car was registered to the new owner with 79xxx miles on the odometer and in for another service with 87xxx miles. So when I questioned the current owner about it he tried to play dumb and said he knew nothing about it and the carfax was wrong so I passed on it. With the car you're mentioning saying it's totally redone with only 40xxx would be a red flag for me. Also a repaint would bring down the value in my opinion.

Did you check the VIN for the original paint code? Was it Teal, or was the color changed to Teal? Definitely check it out.

When assessing value, you look to comps. It will be difficult finding another Teal Metallic 93 with only 40k-ish miles that has been repainted. 93 Cobra prices have really shot up over the last 5 years and Teal examples seem to command the highest of the prices. If this is the car you want, dig into the history to make sure all is on the up-and-up and then start negotiations. How long has the current owner had the car? If it’s a short while, he may have bought a damaged car and painted it to flip it.
