Its a nice tool, but its really not that close. 10.19 and 10.213 its a big difference.

Definitely the 60ft dont compare either.

Call me old school but the only thing that matters to me is what your time slip from the track says.
I think being within 2 hundredths is pretty damn close for a $150 device. I understand that in competitive racing 2 hundredths is a lot, but not to most of us. It’s especially useful for someone like myself thats 2 hours from the nearest track. It’s not like I’ll run a 10.2 with the dragy and then get to the track and see I only run a 10.8 or something obscure. Plus you can see stats like 60-130 or whatever other times you want that you can’t get from the track.

@OneSlowV looks like you shift right before 130, guessing 4-5.
Have you tried bumping the shift rpm a little to run 4th out to 130 to see if it helps the times?

Strong Camaro, sir! Yeah, it still would be interesting to get a real world comparison between the app and a run at the track. The question of reliability comes up occasionally and an actual controlled test might put that to bed.

Its been done 10s of times. The Dragy is pretty damn accurate each time (within .1 sec or so)

Ive personally seen apps used then hit the track and its not even comparable.

Like i said its a nice tool and good to compare if mods improved the cars performance, much like a dyno does. Great tool, just does equate to real world.

Net downhill did not hurt OPs run. Wind direction and speed would help (or hurt) too. Nice numbers nonetheless. I just ordered one of these.

You will like it you can customize a lot of the features. I mainly use the device to see the gains on the mods I did .

Dragtimes has a draggy in every car he takes down the track and always shares the data along with the actual time slips. It’s very consistent.
This $150 device is a legit replacement for a super pricey vbox.
Exactly. The mags use a VBOX and this has been shown to be as accurate at a fraction of the price.

I have as well. However, this is an actual gps device that sits in your car. It’s just your data that is recorded and displayed via the app. It’s not some smart phone performance app. Anybody on here that has used one can tell you they are quite accurate. Not sure why you can’t believe any of them. Lol

Is device only assigned to one phone(person) or can multiple people have the app installed on their phone and it be used by a group of friends?

Good question. You actually turn the device on with the app from the phone. Tomorrow, I’ll pair up to it and then try to pair my wife’s phone to it after. Will let you know.

You can use other people’s devices. I was cheap at first and used a friends dragy, I downloaded the app and connected. The data will be saved to the app on your phone not the individual device.
