The time was right and the car I had my eye on popped up on a local lot with low miles so I jumped on it.
@CobraBob will appreciate this.

Hey, congratulations! You're a member of the family now. LOL. How are you liking it so far? Our cars are so similar that I think it's safe to say you're having a blast. I like the color. I almost got the Genesis equivalent to that but switched to Himalayan Gray at the last minute. I wish you were closer because I'd catch up to you to compare rides. ;)

Enjoy! Are you using Sport mode a lot?

I was going to go with one of these or the Genesis G70 as a dd but bought an F150 instead.
Wow, that's quite a jump, from a sedan to a truck! I'm kind of the opposite. I almost bought an Edge ST but bought a Genesis G70 instead.

Congratulations, beautiful color.

How does it handle? Looks like it has good stopping power, something the Lincoln lacks IMO.

I used to really like those cars a lot, until I found out BMW had a part in the engine. It does look good for a 4 door, enjoy it.

Nice looking cars I really like them. It's probably a nice quick daily driver.

I could be wrong but I am pretty sure this isn't true. The only tie to BMW is the lead guy for the stinger motor use to work in the BMW ///M division.

I wouldn't call that BMW having a part in the engine

I was looking at the g70 sport as well (I believe they have the same drivetrain) amazing car for the price, all the finishes are beyond anything else I could find for the price. I also ended up buying an f150 lol I love the truck.

100% false.

This engine is entirely Hyundai/Kia and has been in production since 2005ish. I was around the Kia based stuff in that time period and remember hearing about this. Its based off an older V6 from Hyundai. Its designation is Lambda II and was the first US based engine designation.

Rhys Millen and Hyundai came up with that insane version - 700ish hp - for his Pikes Peak car. So the engine is a beast where it counts.

Yeah, the used car market is in high gear. I was looking at cars for my son and the dealers I talked to would not wiggle on their advertised prices. As fast as many dealers get cars, they sell. Depends in part on year, miles, condition, of course, but the market is hot right now.

Why did I not get so much love with my 2010 Kia Soul on SVTP?! LOL just kidding I know why. Hey it gets me from point A to B and it was cheap. Still have it! I have more legroom in it than the 2000 Ford Explorer I used to drive or my mom's 2003 BMW X5.

Nice car OP! I was not even aware of this model.

I’m really liking it and all the new tech. Sport mode turns this thing into a completely different animal. So much fun.

And that’s OK. If you’re really hung up on what badge is on the car, you’re really limiting yourself from some great cars.
I can understand and relate. Used to feel the same.

Still waiting on an answer for this.
The Porsche is a fantastic machine, and obviously a more refined and precise driving experience, and the cockpit of the Panamera is an absolutely wonderful place to spend time. My commute is 163 miles (once per week) so when I drive, I’m in there for a while. The hybrid system was giving me issues (wouldn’t go into hybrid mode) every 2-3 weeks, and the oil level sensor was periodically giving me low oil warnings even though the oil level was fine. Long story short, even though I absolutely loved the car, and will most likely own another (non hybrid) in the future, I had lost my confidence and was just ready for something that I would enjoy owning, driving, and not have to worry about. The Stinger checked all those blocks, and looks damn good doing it.
There are some things I’ll miss in the Panamera, and some new/better features the Stinger has that I’m looking forward to using.

Thanks for the feedback, sucks to hear about the Panamera being spotty. Sucks to have a car that you cant trust. Got any mod plans for the stinger, I think a tune would be all I would do beside rims/tires.
