My amazon has done better since purchasing the 2 companies during Covid...so not really a fair assessment. I am a little concerned it’s rise has to do with Covid, but neither of them are going anywhere.

Downloading IOS 14 as i type.

*i am definitely no expert, nor even a novice...so wait for someone with actual knowledge to chime in.
we are pretty close to oversold on the market. Right now it is correcting. This week WILL be a blood bath. Hence, a great buying opportunity. Specifically, buy large cap stocks that are taking a beating. Use Finviz as a screener. Select large cap, and look at the companies taking a 5-10% hit. THOSE are what you buy. Wait a few months and smile when this shit regains.

Anyone know anything on PACD? Looks higher risk but I read it could hit $5 in the next 12 months.

and Jeffrey Epstein didn't kill himself.
Make sure you're in on the pump and not the dump. I've been burned twice on stupid shit pump and dumps before so read up on it. Don't get left holding the bag. If you're lucky to get in at the low then take your 10% and don't get greedy. Pigs get fed, hogs get slaughtered.

Bought at $0.26 and sold at $0.31, took the initial investment and dumped it on Pacific ethanol friday and dumped the profit on catalyst pharmaceuticals.

If you want to gamble a couple hundred or a couple of thousand dollars, SRAFF. Sam fire resources, it’s a copper mine in White Sulphur Springs Montana. Currently at $.19 it has the potential to go to $1.50 once copper is being pulled from the ground. They just got their construction permit from DEQ and they are starting to build the infrastructure. This is the second richest known Coppermine in the US. Meaning it has the highest concentration of copper compared to other mines and less dirt has to be moved to get the same amount of copper. The bonus is that it will save a small community in Montana. They will hire and train local people and pay them 80-120K per year. White Sulphur Springs will no longer be a welfare refuge town. It will also reduce-remove the drug use in town. Black butte copper mine has a zero tolerance for illegal drugs use and routine/ random testing of employees will happen. It will bring on 240ish employees and will last 10-15 years on the first deposit. One or two other deposits are known but not on the first permit. All underground mine, and will have an excellent environmental safety standards.
I threw in about 3K, and it has the potential to pay off my house in 2 to 3 years, or lose my investment. Our next president will be the deciding factor. If it goes blue they will shut down mining.

So when and what point do you cut losses on a stock. I have NKLA. Bought it at like $60. It seems to be dying a slow death. at this point im out like 70% on it. Do I just throw in the towel on this and cut losses or wait for it to be completely worthless? lol......half way new at all of this. It's not a lot of money and I've only been doing this since March, but I will say i've been proactive and done pretty good at my other stock selections.....I check it a few times a day I just hate the idea of being out a sizeable chunk to my portfolio....or what was at one time when I bought this junk....

Oh man, dump that shit ASAP. That was a really bad time to pickup. Their company is a complete shit show, ran by a dude who really doesn’t know wtf he’s doing or talking about. He might have had a good vision, but terrible execution. I foresee it continuing to tank. Lots of people are shorting.

my suggestion if you’re new and don’t really know what you’re doing is sticking to a real solid company in the S&P500 like the other dude mentioned. They’ve dropped a good bit and are really good long term buys right now. Buy it now and hold for years and you’ll be glad you did. Don’t risk it on very high risk stocks like NKLA unless you know what you’re doing. NKLA had all the warning signs you should have seen if you had been following it for a bit.

Thanks! I do have some other good solid companies in my portfolio that have done me good. ie (KO and FLO to name a couple). I just had bought these guys as kind of an outlier and got burned from about day 1 so I just am at a loss at this point I guess. I had certainly not bought anymore since day 1. I will look at just ditching it though at this point.

Get on Seeking Alpha, it can help make sense of what is reasonable and what is not.

WTF is up with this stock? lol
Honestly I have no clue anymore. It looked promising and I took a little over 13k profit off SPI the day before so i bought in at $0.47 for 4950 shares, was way up this morning then just tanked. Decided to ride it out. The total volume is higher than the market cap so it's going to have a small float when the market opens. Also apparently a massive amount of shares have been bought up by insiders last quarter. Monday should be interesting.

There's a 30/1 reverse split coming which should put PPS around 7.40 or so. Even that is double what it should be worth from what I've read.
I played a little but got out before it tanked completly.
