My boy is 24-7 bikes and fishing so over the last year we've been building a couple flow courses through the back yard to train on between slinging lures. We've added some features along the way with a table top, a kicker here and there, a bunch of berms and a new drop we built this weekend. So far we have two lines but they ride well and are a ton of fun. We'll be adding more features along the way but I figured I'd share some pics of us goofing off!

Thats awesome!!! I loved that stuff on my BMX as a kid, grew up and bought a mountain bike and its just not the same. Now that the daughter is learning how to ride a bike Im probably going to get another BMX, Ive never been as comfortable/confident when on a mountain bike. Time to find out what 30 years and 100 pounds has done to me lol.

Hell yeah brother!!! That's pretty bad ass.
I would be out there every day. Weather permitting, of course.

You sound like an awesome dad! Good to see a dad that doesn’t let electronics do the entertaining. Even better to see a kid want to go out and ride!

I have a little TRX 90 4 wheeler that gets my daughter away from electronics and outside.

Love to see this! Keep em active! Back in the 70s the local kids created a similar track in my town in an empty lot. They named it spoke benders! Home made BMX bikes that had the sissy bars cut down for the banana seats, and used motorcycle cross bars.

Great to have a big back yard for neat stuff like that. He's have a lot of fun. How old is he? 5-6? He seems to handle the bike well.

You seem to be really enjoying it, too.

Awesomeness.
My brother in law is in the process of building his 5 yr old son a dirt bike track in the back yard as well. That little fella rides dirt bikes and quads like a champ.

GREAT pics... love doing that stuff with the kids. We built a small ramp earlier this summer and my kids have just about worn that damn thing out.

Kid got air! I used to love this stuff when i was a kid. Had a Mongoose Blue Max for a few years that was my pride and joy.

I grew up in a construction company so I had all the real toys like tractors and such to play with. Plus my dad made me work for everything I have and taught me how to use my hands and be resourceful from the time I could walk. I do the same for my kids and they love being outdoors doing stuff and tinkering.

He's 6. He wants to do everything I do so I do the best I can to guide him right.

This is Awesome! I was a BMXer my entire childhood, even dabbled in racing for a few years. This brings back some good memories. Thanks for sharing OP.
