This is called the 400Z... Not 370. Also it is huge visual fail. Only upside is the manual tranny remains.

You're correct. I forget the word "replacement" after 370Z in the thread title.

As far as pricing, it's been reported that the Nissan 400Z could start at $40,000 to start for a base model. A Nismo model could exceed $50,000.

My nephew works on the marketing team for Nissan in Nashville. He's at all the new car reveals and does a lot of traveling. He posted a picture of the rear end of this car before the official reveal. I'm kind of on the fence on this one.

Yeah, we'll have to wait on final judgement until we see a production version in the wild.

They need to have an n/a base or turbo 4 model starting in the low 30s or there wont be enough sales. that would be like if Ford only sold Mustang GT premiums and up. The base models keep the model going. $40k is not a good starting point for a base model. Unless theyre trying to elevate the model to be their supra, which would be a death sentence for the model. They already dont sell enough as it is.

I agree it needs tweeting to makeit cool, It looks like a first rendering. The shape of the headlights don't look so good to me. From the side the rear quarters remind me of the Jaguar F Type and thats not bad. Rear end shot i don't like I've always liked cool rear ends one thing that old muscle cars had in spades. I was a big fan of the 240 back in the day but this doesn't do much for me.

I’d love to have an old 240Z restomod with a built SR20DET and let somebody like Kindig do the interior update.

The 370 is already overpriced for what it is, this will fall in line with estimates and be significantly more.
