Will it stand up to fire for 5 hours? No. Will it keep a really determined person from stealing everything? It's bolted to the floor and wall so it'll take some work, but no.

It will keep curious hands locked out and provided a better way to store and organize my meager collection, so mission accomplished. Pretty happy with how it turned out.
That turned out really well. I might have to look into a similar solution. I don't have a space downstairs big enough for a "real" safe and I'm not real sure I want a safe upstairs where the kids and their friends spend most of their time.

You need to Krylon that thing gloss grey and put "Electrical Panel Warning" and "Danger High Voltage" stickers on it.

That's a nice safe. I like how it's padded all around. I have a 2-gun Sentry Safe with a modified spring on the strut for faster opening. Both 9mms are loaded and ready to go. The extra magazine is for the S&W M&P Shield on the left. I have to add an extra one for the H&K VP9SK on the right.

Bought this AK47 from my father in law. From what I've researched, it had the 10 round mag from when Clinton banned any high mag rounds from 1994-2004. The magazine is thinner than the old 30 round mags. Anyone know if there is a place that sells high round magazines for these "Clinton" AK's?

They are worth every penny. My M4 clone is very controllable and my shot counter constantly clicks off 600+ rpm when I shoot simulated automatic fire. They are the king of the double tap, too.

The price dif on a franklin AR binary and a scorpion bibary is like 100 bucks

Why? i dunno

I know i should have got one for my AR when they were 300...now they are north of 400
