I'm running the 210lb/hr Bosch CNG injectors, the medium length EV1 ones. I checked all the drawings and ordered the 12mm length spacers. Now with the spacers installed, the injectors measure from flat face to flat face the same length as the old 60lb/hr EV6 injectors. But when I go to bolt up the fuel rails, they're about 2-3mm too high. The only thing I can notice that's different between the new injectors and the old ones is that there's a taper from the flat mounting face to the tip. I'll have to do some more measuring to confirm, but I think it's sitting on that taper instead of the flat mounting face. Has anyone running the Bosch CNG injectors or ID2000s noticed anything similar?

You can kind of see the taper on the black piece below the brown lower o-ring.

If anyone has noticed that, have you done anything about it? I'm sure it's probably not good to have it sitting on a taper rather than a flat seat, but I don't know if I'd want to machine or cut down that part of the injector. I'm probably better off just machining the spacers down a little until it fits.

Yeah I'm using a slightly different injector- I'm using the "medium" length EV1 injector rather than the "short" EV14s most are using, so it's a shorter spacer. I did switch to some standard O-rings for it though.

I think I found my issue. The taper is smaller than the step on the intake manifold bore, so that's not a problem. And the length of the injector with the spacer I have is the same as some old EV1 injectors I had laying around, that also have the same mounting face on the tip. The root of the issue is that the Fore spacers I have, have a shoulder that doesn't allow it to go as deep into the rail. I can't really machine it down either. So it looks like I'll have to weld an extension onto the rail mounting tabs. Lucky me. Should have went with the EV14 ones and the long, tapered spacers everyone else is using.
