Canvas Convertible Top Care/Protectant

*Disregard “Canvas” in the title, the top is “Vinyl”*

What would you all recommend to use on the convertible top on my 01 Cobra. Still has good color (black) but I’d like to put some sort of protectant on it. Eventually I’m sure I’ll need to use something to restore the color.

I’ve seen a lot of products out there and they all have a lot of pros and cons...like to get the advice of those who have used specific products and have had good success.

Unless your top has been replaced, it's vinyl. Be sure to get the "Vinyl" cleaner/protectant.


It's what I always used on my '01. Purchased and applied the "Fabric" protectant to my '20 GT Vert a couple months ago.

My bad, I meant vinyl...was looking at so many different products that I had a brain fart...

I second using Raggtopp. I'm sure it varies but it even brought some life back to my top as far as looks.

Used RaggTopp today and it is great! Really cleaned up and brightened up the black top on my 01 Cobra! The only downfall was the Chemical Guys horse hair brush I used to scrub the cleaner. The bristles fell out in mass when using it...that brush is total garbage and I would recommend that this brush be avoided at all costs!
