Stoptech brakes and factory wheels

Hello. I’m purchasing a CO next week and currently has Stoptech calipers/rotors setup. He has the factory brakes he can put back on, but I want to purchase it with the Stoptechs, but run the stock wheels. Anyone have experience running the stock wheels with upgraded brakes? Do I just need a set of spacers? 1/2” work?

Is it a 13 inch kit or a 14 inch kit? I'm pretty certain the 14 inch kit will not fit with the factory 17s.

I have the 13” ST40s. Stock wheels won’t fit.

They are great brakes, I would highly encourage you to consider keeping them over stock and going a different direction on wheels.



EDIT: I vaguely recalled seeing some 17” wheel setups when I was researching before I bought and found this saved pic. No details other than a 01 Mustang GT with 17” replica wheels and I assume massive spacers. I am also assuming this is the 332mm (13”) kit.
