Yup ... this is loud

I must be getting old ... most of my cars are header/straight pipes (65 cobra, lp640 murci, viper, etc. etc.) but for some reason I find an off-road H (lethal performance) with the mangaflow competition catback (straight pipes) bloody loud.

I almost want to put the stock muffler on and leave the off-road H and see how it sounds ... almost .... how some of you run this setup with headers is beyond me

I just put on the lethal h pipe on my gt. Took the cats off to make sure they were good and seemed foolish to put them back on. I have a stock gt with an eforce, awe touring axle backs and now the h pipe. Maybe I am old too because I find it loud as hell. Not sure what to do now...

fwiw, headers (or not headers), O/R H and STOCK cat back, surprisingly sounds the best on these cars. IMO

If I didn't spend 2hrs getting the damn tail pipes to line up perfectly i'd be tempted to try it ... but I have too much time invested in getting them perfect to go back, lol!

My tails aren't quite right either. A little off center on the driver side, and not quite out far enough on the same side either.

I don’t blame you for not wanting to screw with it.

Off road H and stock catback was the winning combo for me as well. I tried a few different combinations and kept going back to that one.
