I have gotten in the habit of putting a new pair of MT Pro Radial on my car each new season. I was really shocked at how much better my car hooked on the street with a new pair.

Maybe the cold temps here in CT shorten the life of the tire idn but my tires were 2 years old and not hooking for shit any longer and almost put me in the woods a couple times ha. Maybe 5k miles on em.

Brett - I agree 100%. I've noticed the same thing with Pros and Pro Bracket Radials.

BTW, if you've never tried the PBR's, you should. They're almost magical when new and always a noticeable amount more forgiving than Pros.

I'll trade a tenth and a mph for that every time.

To be honest John I have not tried them. I was looking at it and thought dam those things look like they hook lol. As soon as the rears wear out I might give them a shot. These Pro Radials do hook like velcro tho when new and broken in but those do look stickier I must admit.

What do u notice different about them over the PR's on the street?

Been using 305 MT Street S/S on the '13 and found that if I heat them up like John Force and keep them at about 18psi.....they actually grip pretty dang decent even with the manual trans.

I've got to get the auto swap done, but I've converted the garage into a temporary manufacturing plant making built-to-order CNC machines, so the cars are both sitting under covers in the driveway.

I like the PBRs but their only knock is they aren’t DOT like even the Pros.
I’m a stick guy that needs bias ply anyway, my 28x12.5 ET Rs are probably going to be too short, so I’m eyeing 29x13.5 QTPs :)
