I'm helping someone elderly get the loose ends tied up in their 39 Ford street rod. Inside they have this pull mechanism for the hood and trunk made from I'm guessing a 90's ford assembly. I asked just about everyone I know. looking the number up online is a dead end.

I've had no luck figuring out what it's off of. We're missing one pull tab. I PM'd the Tasca guy on here but he must not log in much anymore.

Thanks guys. I wonder if this is a whole assembly or if the pull tabs are separate.

The number I have here is off the plastic cover over the release mechanism these tabs stick out of. I see a blank part come up with a google search of that number but it doesn't get me to the missing pull tab I'm looking for, I don't think, the sister to the one I posted a pic of. There is a right and left side pull tab.

I'll have to find a junkyard that still has some early/mid 90's fords and look inside. maybe I'll get lucky.

Kinda reminds me of the array next to the driver seat on Escorts?

One lever opened the fuel door and the other did the hatch maybe?

I checked for escort and it wasn't right, but I tried searching Taurus and that's it! about a 95 Taurus. Wagon maybe? Not sure. The old man must have removed the white indicator off the tab I have. If it had a gas logo on it still I probably would have figured it out quicker.
