Anyone running 315/35/17 R888’s / R888r’s and also lowered?

I have H&R race springs, fenders rolled with nitto 555’s in the back. Looking for a stickier street tire for my power level 580/550 to the wheels. Anyone set up like this fitting R888’s / R888r’s? From my research nitto runs narrow and these Toyos run wide and a little taller.

I run 315 30 18 R888R on my car. I had 315 M/T on there but they no longer offer that tire so i switched. They are definitely wider. My car sits on h&r race springs no iso's. fenders had to be rolled. not completely satisfied with look......wish i had gone with 305 had i known the difference.

Thanks for the feedback. I would be running a 315/35/17 in R888r and the specs are almost identical to yours. So I’m assuming you aren’t rubbing at all? What size are your wheels? Also how do you like your R888R’s compared to your previous M/T’s?

I have Toyo 315/17s on 10.5s. H&Rs, top and bottom MM isos with 1/4" spacers. No clearance issues, excellent traction. Could have gotten away with no spacers, but at full droop touched slightly and I wasn't comfortable with that.

Have had my 315/30/18 R888R’s and they are great when warm. Cold is like the old 555’s. I make 470/515 wheel. They are less noisy than the old 888’s. I believe effective width is larger than the previous tires. 315’s are closer to a 325/335. I already have 1500 miles on the tires and they still look almost new.

I have 315/18 R888R and do not rub.

I also have MM coilovers which I highly recommend if you have CCW's.

I have driven on the R888R for a couple hundred miles and they grip really well, but are a bit noisy. If you have aftermarket headers and cat back you wont hear them though.

I recommend rolling fenders if you run 315's and are lowered.

Appreciate you all for your feedback. Now that I figured out how to post pics I’m still welcoming further input. This is how I currently sit with nitto 555 315/35/17. 17x11 wheels, H&R race springs. The specs on my nitto’s and R888R 315/35/17 on paper are very close but we know how that goes lol

You seem to have the closest set up to me, have any pics to share?

Im running 315/35/17 R888 s on American muscle reps with 1/2 coil cut on stock springs. No spacers.

I know this is an old thread, but I can see you are still active on the site. Do you have any rubbing on either side of the tire and did you roll the fenders?

My car is lowered, fenders rolled and run the 305/35/18 R 888's no rubbing and I love em, even good when I get stuck in the rain.
