I had my GT500 polished & ceramic coated.

Before having it coated I replaced a few pieces of stripe and had to remove the hood vent. So I had the hood vent smoothed and painted oem black to match the car. Came out well, once it’s installed I’ll see if I want to paint front grilles. (I bought a new oem vent which is on the car now. I decided to have the original vent painted after the fact.)

... I wouldn’t mind .. taking the stripes off the car.....

I gotta admit, I think that car looks great but would look even better without the two giant red stripes on top. But then again, I've never been a fan of the two giant stripes on any car. Just personal taste, I guess. Nice ride!

The coating came out great! I love mine. A year and a half later and the paint still beads water like crazy and is so smooth to the touch.

Subtle, but makes a huge impact. Painted looks 100x better. Nice work!
What's hiding under the cover in the garage?
