I wish they’d offer the Tremor package with the XL trim level. A 7.3L Tremor XL with vinyl seats and floor would absolutely find its way into my driveway.

I initially wanted a tremor but I just can’t justify the extra 4K sticker. I’m mulling this over right now. My biggest hesitation is that I’ll be giving up quite a bit of range gas-tank wise as this is our primary road trip vehicle even when not towing. I love being able to get 650 miles or more to a tank on my current truck.

I almost was able to get the computer to show me 700 MTE once. Think it was 680-something. The 36 gallon tank is a very overlooked option for the 150. Now that I'm WFH and we don't take it anywhere much, I think a tank lasts me a month!

Yeah it is by far my favorite feature. I got almost 23 mpg on our drive from KS to gulf shores a few years ago and the range was ridiculous. I can go 2 weeks easy between fill ups when I’m going into the office. I find it very odd the SD has worse mpg AND a smaller tank. On my calculator I’m assuming 15 mpg mixed on a 250 needs a 44 gallon tank for similar range vs the 34 it comes with. If it was 40 gal I’d be fine but damn 34 seems tiny

For those of you in a similar boat the 0% for 72 announced yesterday does not apply to super duties haha

That’s pretty good our CU is right around there so it’s nice to get some competition. I’m still debating. I really need to go test drive one just not too many in inventory around here

I haven't towed anything yet, other than my Honda Rancher 4x4. The 7.3L with the 4.30 gears is a beast of a package. Tons of low end torque, great passing power, and it even has a great factory sound to it. Gas mileage isn't great, I average 12.2 MPG, but you don't buy a Super Duty for MPG.

Finally broke 5k miles on my Tremor this weekend. Man, I love this beast!

Yeah I’m really torn between 3.55 and 4.30. I don’t tow too close to max and with DD status I’m just wondering if the extra mpg would be a little more practical but if I was to ever go to a 35” tire the 4.30 would be nice...

I have convinced myself the Tremor is the best value for an enthusiast in the Ford truck offering for someone that needs a truck to tow something and is thinking of spending more than 50K on an F150 that may or may not have 8 cylinders.

My 5.0 F150 with Raptor “35’s” gets 17 MPG DD and towing a small snowmobile trailer it gets 12, open car trailer w/light car I scratch out 10.

I’m convinced a Tremor wouldn’t even downshift when I drive to Maine...

That's what I'd go for if I were buying a new truck.

@DriftwoodSVT beautiful truck! I kick myself all the time for going with a 2020 F150 FX4 over the 7.3F 250 they had there next to it on the lot, I was just too focused on the 0% and rebates... especially since i pull a 30' toy hauler

@T56LS102 nice jayco! Part of my reason looking into a 250, should make the towing experience better. I love my eco and it has plenty of power but get it out on the highway and the trailer is definitely moving the truck around even with my WDH spot on. So glad I didn’t go with a bigger trailer because we’re really close to gvwr as we sit.

@MarkOPKS Thanks! likewise, nice Jayco! @SID297 , I agree, the issue is not the power, my truck has max tow and 3.5eb but it is literately the wind hitting my big sail! (aka the Jayco lol) so i have a bitchin Curt hitch with weight distribution, sway control and added bags to the truck, all this has helped bigtime, but still no replacement for the F250 / 350, that will come in a year or so for sure!

Same exact sentiment here but I didn’t add bags
