Anyone have input on the new super duty as a daily and a tow rig, especially coming from an F150? I have been wondering if it’s worth it to make the jump now since used F150 prices are pretty solid. As much as I’d love a tremor it’s hard to justify since I really just do hunting roads and haven’t been in a situation my F150 can’t handle. I also don’t care about 250 vs 350, partly wouldn’t mind the extra payload if I can find one. I’d also be curious on rear end input. Most of the trucks on the lot out here are 3.55 and I was more leaning towards a 3.73 or 4.30 if I get my pick.

That’s awesome! What did you order? I’ve seen mpg all over the map haha but it’s not a big deal. I got about 8.9 pulling the camper about 70 miles from home. My lifetime average on my eco is 18.3 and that’s a lot of towing miles with the boat. If I can be around 14-16 in a 7000+ lb super duty I’d be happy.
@SID297 the 4.30 makes that much of a difference?
@ON D BIT did the 7.3 feel pretty powerful despite the extra curb weight? I’ve been spoiled with the ecoboost and how quick it is haha

Nice! I’ve watched all the (limited) youtube vids etc and cant find much of a forum to speak of. As cool as the tremor is I just don’t think I’d use it enough to justify an extra $4k. But dammit they’re sweet

I think they are a deal with the 7.3. 7.3 Tremor Platinum was $74k that I priced out.
7.3 Tremor Lariat ultimate and LED lights was $66k.
To give you a comparison I saw 3 2020 F150 Lariats msrp of $65k or higher at my local dealer. For the same asking price there is no comparison.
Mine is $60k Msrp but with invoice pricing and pco my price will be closer to $54k. You can’t beat that in my mind!

Oh yeah unless something weird happens and I hate the ride compared to a 150 (which I bet will not happen) it’s the best truck for the money without question.

If you havent already definitely drive a F250 with similar options you want so you can get a fair comparison to the way the F150 rides. Im gonna assume then F150 is gonna ride and handle better not towing than the F250, but when towing the F250 is gonna do a much better job and payload.

I can't answer your question, but you should reach out to @13COBRA since you're local to see what deal you can work out.
Also, I love the Guard color! Cleans up nice and you don't see it often.

Yep he’s my guy, bought my guard truck from him lol. There’s a part of me that doesn’t want to get rid of my current truck quite yet but every time I hook up the camper I think of a SD.... we’re hoping to take some longer trips with it soon and we had a hell of a cross wind on Sunday

Not sure if you can Tremor just a 250, or if 350 is in play as well. However, depending on the how the 250 options out, I've heard their payload can suck for the size of the truck and not gain you a lot over a 150, especially your max tow (HDPP by chance?).

What I'm saying is, it may be worth skipping a 250 and going 350 to cover you if you ever want to upgrade campers. I'm going to guess, however that you'll be venturing far away from the ride of a 150 at that point. Only you can decide if you can live with it.

Yeah that’s my concern too. I know the payload goes to hell with a diesel which I’m avoiding. If my math is right curb weight on most 250s with the 7.3 is 72xx lbs or so so that should get me 2800 ish payload which is exactly 1k more than I have now. If I order I will go without the 10k de-rating since as far as I can tell it doesn’t matter where I live for some extra lbs
