It looks like it has a Team Oreca colour scheme. Looks awesome. Who is doing the set up & support on the Viper?

Luckily, I'm blessed with an incredible performance oriented technician at my dealership.

I have a few guys on retainer as well lol

This thing is FAST. Took 2.2 seconds off my PR in my ACR on the second session ever driving the car. Officially, it ran a 1:44.035, unofficially I had it at a 1:44.883. My personal best in my last car was a 1:46.204.

Once I get used to not having a brake booster, I think I'll drop another 2 seconds off pretty quick. My over braking killed the flow of my lines. There were times I had to give it gas just to get to the apex haha

Downshifting from 3rd to 2nd will take some getting used to. Of course with a traditional H Pattern you pull back and towards you, with the sequential you push forward. I shifted to 4th at least a dozen times thinking I was going to 2nd.

Super happy with the results of the weekend. Took first in my class and overall both days. I'm moving from TT1 to TTU, which will allow me to drop weight. I dropped 136lbs in 5 minutes (ballast and excess fuel), so shooting for the 1:40s.

Glad to hear it all worked out! Buddy went Sunday in hopes of watching some runs, but as you know, the morning wasn't a great start. He ended up leaving instead of waiting around.

It was looking gloomy. He could've hung in my garage.

It ended up drying off Sunday afternoon and I got one more good session in.

Going to need some in car footage of that sequential in action. What was the deal with the throttle indicator not working on the overlay? Would love to see how much throttle you’re applying.

Awesome! What tire you running on? I would absolutely love to have a track Viper next to the GTS, but then I think of how a bad weekend of karting can cost me some times. What kind of maintenance is necessary for the sequential?

In the process of figuring out how to overlay Motec data on the Garmin stuff.

Before, I just plugged a bluetooth device in to the OBDII and it would overlay...this car doesn't have an OBDII. lol

Michelin slick. Yeah, some weekends are much more expensive than others.

It's actually pretty low maintenance. It's definitely a brute of a transmission, not so much of a finesse one haha
