I love how these people out here are the 1st to throw blame on police but never could even think how to handle anything like that much less any other situation other than a report every day all day.
Stress, no sleep, no food, people complaining.
I'm surprised that police suicides arent surpassing dental and therapists.
I always hear why didnt they shoot them in the leg or they were choking him and he couldn't breathe( while the guy was yelling for his buddies to hide the gun and drugs )
There are alot of jobs out there that alot of people couldn't do like Fire, Police, nurses, doctors and teachers.
They are hard to fill because it takes alot
Patience, knowledge, values, commitment times two that's needed to fill those shoes.
Its always nice to see when they put States Attorneys, Public defenders and citizens in the situations where they have to make some decisions under stress and then they see what really happens. Go put that fire out lol.
All in all, bad things happen and there are bad people all over and in each branch of work.
But the going trend is police and news on it.
Stop listening to the B.S. news for ratings until they start covering the good things that people do. Start making people become accountable for their actions and contribute to society. aka get a job and work hard and stop waiting for shit for free.
Start putting 2 year or 4 year terms on all political jobs local and federal and stop paying politicians a crazy salary or get rid of the position.
You don't see anyone protesting for any of the innocent kids that are gunned down by some gang member or shit bird who tried to rob someone and then even after they stole what they did still, shot at the victim but missed and hit the 1 year old or 7 year old.
There is law for a reason and your seeing it in Portland.

After watching that vid all I can say is METH is a hell of a drug. Can make you crazy, can get you killed, can get you 3 funerals and a horse and buggy carriage. I’m glad BLM uses a METH head as their martyr. Makes the movement that much more embarrassing.

You just described an example of active resistance; but ended it with a projection of wrong doing by the officer. Perhaps the individual escalated the situation by assaulting the officer.
