For 6+ years I worked with a chinese subcontractor at our customers request. What a bunch of ****ing liars. You could never, ever, get an accurate, consistent answer. They'd ship us crap. Two weeks later when it arrived, and we notified them, they had no idea what happened and would lie about the parts quality.

An America company we molded parts for had us drop ship parts to a subcontractor in china. If the smallest issue arose, paperwork, 1/100 parts had flash, etc, they'd scream bloody murder.

i remember one of my business professors (from taiwan) telling us about this in class. she had invested in products being made in china and less than year later they were copied and being sold for less. she said this was common practice in china. that was circa 1998.
