If true that's pretty disappointing to see.....

Back when I had my 11 GT500 they were absolutely top notch to deal with when I had them pulley and tune it initially and then went back down a few years later to have them dial in the tune when I installed a Gen2 TVS...

Can someone explain this whole thing to me, like slowly so I can understand?
So far I got VMP contracted MFP to build a manifold. Things went south with MFP for (Whatever reason). VMP says "Fxck-it we need manifolds" and they go and get it built, unfortunately in China.

Is it VMP's design? Did they contract MFP to design it for them?

I think what VMP did is down right wrong, but did they break any agreements or contracts? Did MFP have a patent on this manifold? It sounds like VMP is getting greedy and just trying to make a dollar which is sad. Can't say I'm surprised these are being outsourced to China, my previous statement about trying to make a dollar says it all.

I am not sure what happened with Roush but they made VMP what they are today. They made an absolute killing on their 2.3 kits thanks to Roush.

Hopefully we will see VMP share their side of the story so everything is out on the table. I can say I was once proud to rep VMP and their products but now I am not sure. I do have their 2.3 kit on the car and it will remain. However when it comes to recommending them I will not bring up their name. Hope this mess gets sorted out, our community is to small for this type of BS drama.

MFP was designing it for VMP

VMP has reportedly stolen tuning too.

I saw a thread they put a blower on a youtubers f150 and tuned it. It almost immediately clogged the cat and blew up the motor, allowing them to conveniently build him a motor.
Autovlog is the youtube guy. Remember when it happened. Unbelievable.

Come on guys, accusing VMP of intentionally blowing up this dude's truck is a little far fetched. Are you guys saying VMP stole someone's tune which blew his truck, really......... Running factory cats with blowers on these cars is like rolling the dice, several people have had the same thing happen from multiple tuners.

So just my (obviously Biased) 2cents.

VMP does a lot of things very well.
1. Marketing
2. Top notch Customer Support
3. Delivering Quality Products
4. Affordable pricing

As a consumer, this is what I care about.
This behind the scenes vendor drama does not interest me in the slightest in terms of who I’m going to buy from.

If what MFP is saying is true, that these manifolds that VMP were about to start selling had improperly cast bungs for fuel injectors which caused the rail to sit too high and could have lead to the possibility of a fuel leak and even a fire, would that not have an impact on #3 "quality products" on your list?

I also like supporting vendors who aren't using shady business tactics behind the scenes.
