Need Trans Advice!

Okay guys have not posted in awhile. But i have a question about transmissions. i have a fully build procharged 99 gt that has a tko 600in it. I hate the way it shifts. So have any of you guys ran a built T45 trans with this kind of power? mods to T45 are: 26 input shaft upgrade, carbon fiber syncros, upgraded shift forks.
Reason i ask is my 96cobra has a T45 with mgw shifter, and it shifts much smoother and faster at any rpm range i want than this tko.
This tko shift like trash and most of the time i am locked out of a high rpm speed shift for third.

Liberty makes an upgrade kit for the TKO's. Its purpose is to address the issues you list. Just something to consider.
If the T-45 is the stock trans for the 99 Mustang Cobra, which I think it is, I have the stock trans behind the engine with a KB supercharger. I do not run it on the drag strip with slicks, but do enjoy driving it.
I have had no issues with it handling the power.
I think my whp is 425.
If you might be interested in the Liberty option, there are a lot of articles on it to help you make up your mind.

everyone can save the comments of how Autos are faster now. i have not owned alot of High HP cars. but when working at a performance shop drove many hellcats, Shelbys, and so on with as much as 800 plus HP.
I enjoy the driving aspect of having to drive the car not just hold a steering wheel or slap a paddle.

I have a built t45 with 26 input shaft upgrade, carbon fiber syncros, upgraded shift forks and solid fork pads and should handle about 700 to the wheel. I have yet to put it in but try different fluids cause I personally think royal purple is over hyped garbage, instead id go with dex merc atf
