So it took me a while like over a year to find the right GT500 for me that was exactly like my previous 2014 RRM GT500 was and finally got it delivered yesterday. Its no special ride but just a base 2013 with the shaker audio system option. All factory stock one owner 3k mile coupe and its perfect. Just need to get some rubbers for my Black powder coated base wheels and I will be good to go. These Goodyears are horrible. When I had my 2014 GT500 took the GY'S off at 25 miles and sold them to get some PSS Michelin's. Will be getting PS4's on this Shelby. Just happy to back in the Beast mode. Music to my ears when I start this beast. Its going to take a while for me to get this GT500 titled because NJ DMV is such a disaster. They just opened this past Monday after being closed since mid March. Will not wait 4-5 hours on line at DMV with my condition. ****ing god damn liberal nanny state I live in.

From a Shelby cruise over the weekend...

With over 20 in attendance, this is probably the most Shelby's I've seen in one location (away from Shelby HQ).

looks good, I like it!
Only a couple more weekends left of good car weather in Madawaska, Maine.
Doesnt it start snowing around first week in August?
Bahahah. Yea. Pretty much. Lol. No actually we have been wicked lucky this year. Dry June and 80s which is rare. We should be good until Octoberish.

WAIT! You're in Maine? I thought I was one of the only Shelby fools in the state! You ever make it down to Bangor at all?

Yes sir. Will be at Batten Motorsports on the 27th and hopefully get some dyno #s. You should try to make it.

Thank you. Running 275/35 R20 front Nitto G2 and the new 555RII Drag Radial rears 305/35 R20.
You’re the first Shelby guy I’ve heard run the new RIIs.
How do you like them?
Have you had other DRs to compare them to?

So far very good. 555Rs before on other cars. These seem every bit as good and them some. More tread depth and seem like they will be even better in the rain.
M/T are a great drag tire but they don't last for crap. Nittos work for me. I travel far for car shows and stuff so I love em.

So traction isn’t as good or better? I don’t dig race on the street much, really just rolls but it’s usually decent power. If they’re even a little better than the OG 555Rs I’m happy.
Thanks
