That's a BS. I can say getting hit by a bus would suck without ever having owned a bus nor been hit by one.

That's exactly my point. It's not a "better" driving experience or car, it's just newer and radically different.

Honestly, I'd rather have an E46 M3 now that I think about it. But for current cars I'd take a cheaper and more mod friendly Corvette or more exotic 911/Cayman over the GT350 if I wanted a pure sports car.

My BMW had an E46 M3 engine (modified) the last 4 seasons that I club raced it. Your comments about an E46 M3 being a better car is laughable, as are your other copmparisons. The 350 is a great handling car (the struts/shocks are unreal), with unreal breaks, and an engine that rocks to 8,250 rpm's.

I went the opposite direction. Always wanted a Cobra(Terminator).
The 350 is a very well defined and awesome looking vehicle. But it wasn’t all out war raw horsepower!
03-04 Cobras are a different animal.
Loved my 350 and maybe I’ll get another one day, but will not let my 04 cobra go anywhere.

I had an E46 M3 for 10 years, and it was the best balance of performance and luxury in its day. The GT350R is much better.

I’ll be trying out the GT500 on track next week but a little voice in my head wants to find a ‘19-20 GT350 and ship it to PBD for a turn key Hellion sleeper TT kit and keep the rest stock.
How you liking the 350R compared to the ‘13 GT500?

As expected, I miss the neck-snapping torque of the GT500, but the refinement, handling, and comfort of the GT350R makes up for it. I’m doing my first auto cross tomorrow and look forward to thrashing my new Shelby and seeing how well I can do against the other cars in Super Stock.
