Or the thickened blood causing strokes, or the persistent smell of smoke, or an inflamed heart, or seizures, or encephalitis.

Ah hahahahahahahahahahaha!! That's a good one considering the overwhelming majority of pole who contract this literally dont even know they have it.

CNN would be so proud of you.

Construction company here. 15 office and about 30 field guys.

We were shut down with the initial order back in March even though a day or so later it was revised for construction to be deemed "essential". We closed our office for about two weeks, ran things remote. Owner hated it as he's an old school paper guy. At about the two week mark we started trickling back in. My wife then thought she had it, so we "self quarantined" at that point. Got the runaround for about a week and a half through various phone and video chats with nurses. Finally talked to her Dr who laughed and was like "yeah, you don't have covid, nobody we are seeing does". Mid April at this point, and I had enough of stay-at-home working, and have been going into the office full time since.

**** the shutdowns. Those that have family thats vulnerable need to handle their own engagement with society. The rest of us shouldnt be held back due to a virus with a ****ing 99.945% survival rate, with that 0.055% being mostly elderly and those with moderate underlying symptoms. Sick of this black plague level response for a ****ing respiratory cold, of which wouldve been shrugged off as "just another bug going around" any other year.

Stop it with your common sense! Youre gonna give people wild ideas about going back to work and generating organic economic stimulus. Bad, bad!!

All I know is, apparently, I'm essential personnel.

It has been awesome. None of my client's staff is at their plant and I've basically devoted the entire time piddling around with my tinkering.

We started back with all the non-essential people coming back until last week when an operator in the unit I support tested positive for the Chinese herpes and now its back to me and my lonesome hanging out in a DCS I/O room by myself all day.

I got sick.with this crap on Friday. 2 tests with positive results. I'm at home right now and this stuff isn't pleasant. I'm not going to die but f me if I don't feel like I've been run over and beat to death. I can't manage to stay awake at all. I know where I got it from and it was only a matter of time with so many truck drivers heading in and out of the port. This stuff is no joke but its NOT a instant death sentence. Imagine strep and the nastiest week long body flu rolled into one. Be safe and stay healthy guys n gals.

Stay safe, and quick recovery. I’m glad you’re in good spirits as though it can even be more serious.
I suggest high dose vitamin c, 500mg vitamin D, and zinc daily!

Take everything from the New York Times with a grain of salt.

They've basically becoming the National Enquirer over the years.

I posted it as he is a very respected surgeon from NYC fighting the virus for the last 3 months. He himself called it the flu before it reached our shores then quickly changed his mind when he saw what it was. I’m sure he verified the article through his medical contacts.

That sucks man but you'll be good. Any chance you can get a hydroxychloroquine script?

Well finally doing better. It was mostly coughing to death and a sweating painful fever from hell. I didn't get anyone in my family sick as I was mostly sleeping and living in my semi to keep accidental exposure down. Came close to being hospitalized a couple of times because the fever wouldn't stay down. So you could say I had a minor/medium case of it. I cannot begin to describe how I feel now without all the pain, breathing, and light headed crap this was. Couldn't stay awake either. 10/10 would not recommend for getting time off in this fashion.

Bosch shut down for months here in Charleston, SC. Put us all on unemployment, it was great. I got so lazy I almost became a Democrat. Went back to work and cases are popping up daily at the plant. Safety glasses, pants, steel toes, ESD shoes for me....and now masks are mando or you're fired after the 2nd time. My wife is a paralegal and her firm has her working from home two days a week to minimize people in the office. This shit, can't wait till the election is over so it goes away.
