So I’m going from a gen2 2.9 to a gen4 2.9, both standard inlets. Wanting to keep the 24/25 lbs of boost. What pulley combo will get me there? Have a 2 and 4lb lower ring. Is the accufab tb a restriction? Should I upgrade from my Bosch 105 injectors? Motor is a teksid block, all arp hardware, 98 cobra cams, 9.5:1 compression and on E85 all the time.

What kind of gains are you expecting going from gen 2- 2.9, to a gen 4 two point nine at the same boost level?

IMO your TB is restricting at 24-25 PSI
You should spring for the crusher intake - bet you pick up 50-60+ whp with that alone,
What are you numbers now?
gen5 3.0 would be the best swap,

And I would go with the ID 1050x or 1300's
I have a gen2 2.9 crusher w/cams ported heads, and had a lot of tuning issues until we swapped over to these

I would love to go crusher but don’t want to have to deal with the issues that comes with it. My tuner had no problems with what a have with the gen2. Car ran great and trapped 144 at the track

I agree the gen4 crusher setup would have been ideal....but there's not really been a ton of max effort results out of the standard inlet. Uncharted waters. One way to find out, will be interesting to see your results overlayed with the gen2. Also, track results. 144 trapper was no joke with that gen2!

Yeah it seems everyone goes crusher. It may be an option later down the line but I’d really like to see what the std inlet can do. I’ll definitely post the results when the time comes. Won’t get the gen4 till late July. Ordered it about a month ago

144 has to be a blast.

I hit 114 with nothing and a full tank which was fun. With the 1/2 mile slow down area I was able to stay in it for a few more

you should already be going well into the 9's with that trap speed
I only went 10.1@137 with a 1.48 60' on a gen4 non crusher

Ya....at the end of the day, the car still has to 60ft. You can trap 160+ and still run tens. But......big trapper still cool! Lol

Yep. I only launch at like 3500. Too worried about breaking things. Still on stock halfshafts. When I went I was only going for trap speed.

Dude 144 is fn freight training for a street car. I’d personally save my money and put it into the suspension to really make it all work and hook. It’s a blast dumping the clutch at 5000+ and just ripping out of the hole. It’ll feel like a new car with some proper suspension. Pretty soon you’ll need a parachute trapping what you’re trapping.

It’s too late, I already sold my blower and ordered a new one. I’m probably gonna try that 5000 launch the next time I go.

Ya it appears to be bogging coming out of the hole, needs more wheel speed to 60ft. But still nice passes! Good work getting out and run'n her
