Took this one of her last night around 9:05, shortly before we went to bed. Glad I took it.

Such sad news, but so nice that she died lying next to you. In peace! Yorkies are awesome. My daughter has had 5 over the past 25+ years, I believe. One of them, a white female, was named Lexi.

Lost my Liberty in January las
Last night, my 17.5 year old Yorkie passed away while in bed with us. She was having trouble breathing, it sounded like she had fluid on her heart or lungs, her breathing was long between and sounded difficult for her.

The past couple of weeks she had started to lose her balance, and would sometimes have trouble standing, her legs would seem unsteady. But she was eating, drinking and still very affectionate.

Taking today off work to bury her and explain to my boys (9 and 11), and to regain my composure.

I'm happy she passed while under the sheets laying next to my side in bed. Best way I could have hoped for.

Good night, Lexi. You will be dearly missed.

Sorry to hear that. My boy is on the verge of crossing that bridge soon. Went yesterday to put him down but vet gave us some meds to try first to see if his life can be prolonged any. He is healthy as a horse but cancer sucks. All part of boxer life

sorry to hear man I know it’s cliche, but they really are an extension of your family, we have a yorkie, I couldn’t imagine her not being with us.

You know, being part of a family that loves you, right up to the end? That's a lot better deal than a lot of us will get. That's about as good as it gets. Good on you and yours, pal.
