Anyone here build these types of chairs? Looking for a couple of bar/counter height chairs with a table between them as well as some low to the ground ones that fold with leg rests. Rather support local than made overseas or a massive chain store.

Wish this company would ship. Anyone travelling from PA to AZ/CA? ha. Any west coast companies making these?

I know I can make them with template kits but dont have the time. Wish this guy would sell a kit to assemble yourself

I built one out of general lumber after having sticker shock for what those stupid things are going for. I don't recall what I used but there are a ton of sites and videos on how to do it. The one I found had templates you could follow and it took a fair bit of time to build but it was worth saving the money. Just do a search and give it a go.

Stupid expensive. My father in law made one out of the fence from their old house that was eminent domained. It’s pretty awesome. He has the templates now so it would be too easy for me not to try my hand with some of the leftover deck board I have... one day. Really busy right now

Yes those chairs are awesome but I need more info on the reflection in that door. Holy ****! If that's on a lake that's perfection
Currently building some right now. Saw what they wanted at the store and couldn't believe the price. Luckily I had a chair to disassemble to use as a template.

Green with envy my friend, well done.

Now you can tell us about the chairs. You have a digital copy of that template?

Thanks, I absolutely love it here.

Unfortunately, I don't have a digital copy of any kind. I literally took apart a chair that I already had and traced the parts (needed these chairs quick for company that is coming). I do plan to make templates out of cardboard, so I may take the time to measure/CAD those. For now, I need to put these together and clean up the mess. However, I'm hoping someone in this thread has a digital copy of prints. I have searched in the past but didn't find anything I liked.

I found these which ship for free but they are in NY and 30 days out on shipping

Bar Height Tete-a-Tete Set - Amish Made Poly

I have the exact set in the first pic, but in a different color. I should start a company making them, because they are allover the place here and sale for crazy money.
Im just shocked that 2 chairs and a tiny table is $750 but we pulled the trigger on them. They are plastic/resin so they should hold up better outside with the ocean air.

One day Im going to buy the plans/template and start making some from the guy who did the video in my OP. He makes an incredible one with a slide out leg rest. I emailed him about templates for a bar height set. $100 for the plans and template:

Ours are 5 years old and look brand new. They live out in the sun at our boat slip.
