How To Adjust Clutch Cable

Glad to be the one to bring this post back after a couple years! I’m having to push the clutch all the way to the floor and it makes the car not as fun to drive. We will see.

for folks still on the oem quadrant setup, i've often said that this is probably the single most helpful thread on the forum.

If you're talking about adding tension to the cable after you've already cut the plate then yes, you should release the clutch pedal prior. It's possible you just did not hear the click or that the cable is already tight enough. I recommend driving it and see how the clutch is working. If it's still not shifting better then get under there and put some force on the add tension adjuster until you get a click.
